this body of work was made in the fall of 2004 during a 3 month residency at vain in seattle, wa. at that time i was juggling a very full schedule consisting of a day job, jewelry making, and home. my life and everything in it seemed exaggerated, which gave me the idea to use my production line as a spring board for my studio jewelry. i took elements from my collections, namely the signature collection, and made them much, much bigger, resulting in more sculptural jewelry.
