Amy Tavern Jewelry begins with close observation—walking along the beach, noticing natural phenomena formed at the ocean’s edge such as drifting sea foam that contains an unseen world of the microscopic. Using geometry as a visual language, Amy explores the tension between what we perceive and what is invisible in the natural world and translates her discoveries into refined, easy to wear jewelry. Paired with the Sea Foam pieces, Crooked Teeth draws from observations of her own unstraightened smile, reflecting on imperfection, individuality, and conventional standards of beauty. Rounding out the two is Hummingbird, a new series inspired by the hummingbirds in her backyard. Together, Amy’s collections celebrate simplicity, irregularity, and the unexpected forms found all around us. Handmade in sterling silver, mother of pearl, and touches of gold, each piece is slowly shaped by repetition, asymmetry, and subtle details—bold enough to feel distinctive, yet quiet enough for everyday wear.

Shop Policies

Shipping:

I make most orders to order, and it generally takes me 3-5 business days. Then, once I have shipped your order to you, it should take 2-3 business days to arrive via USPS Priority Mail. You will receive an order confirmation when you place your order and a shipping notification with tracking once it ships. Amy Tavern Jewelry is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or for any delays once the package has been shipped.

Exchanges or credit:

I offer exchanges or credit (good for one year) for unworn jewelry within 10 days of receipt of purchase. I do not offer returns. Please contact me at atavern@amytavern.com for instructions before proceeding.

Packaging:

All jewelry pieces are shipped in a gift box with a logo sticker, jewelry card, and ribbon. If your order is a gift and you would like to enclose a special note as well as leave out the packing slip, please email me at atavern@amytavern.com when you place your order. I am happy to include your note in the box and email you a digital copy of the packing slip.

Jewelry Care:

To prolong the condition of your jewelry, store it in a zip lock bag in a dry place after each wear. Proper storage will help maintain the original finish of your piece and prevent tarnish. Please avoid keeping jewelry in your bathroom--moisture can cause damage. To clean your piece, gently wash it with soap and water and a soft toothbrush. Do not use a polishing cloth or tarnish remover--both will remove the oxidation intended for the piece.

Damaged or Broken Jewelry:

If your piece breaks due to flaws in the craftsmanship, it will be repaired free of charge within the first year after purchase. If the jewelry was purchased more than a year ago, I will still repair it for a small fee. Please contact me for more info at atavern@amytavern.com. Amy Tavern Jewelry is not responsible for mistreated, lost, or stolen jewelry.
