Iceland, Five is the fifth book in a series of books about Iceland and part of an archiving project that began in September 2023 during a residency at Hafnarborg Center for Art and Culture in Hafnarfjörður. The series includes seven books, one for each unique experience I had in Iceland.

The 182-page book includes 91 images, plus 14 images of the work I made at the Bær Art Center in Hofsós. I spent two weeks at the residency and bookended that time with Reykjavík and travel in the North to places like Ásbyrgi Canyon and Mývatn Lake. I also spent a few days in Blönduós and Skagaströnd as I always do. A one-page essay at the beginning and a list of images in the back complete the book.

The pastel, softcover book, designed and independently published by me, was inspired by a series of Icelandic Sagas at the library in Skagaströnd, Iceland from my 2013 Nes Residency.
