Iceland, Two is the second book in an in-progress series of books about Iceland and part of an archiving project that began in September 2023 during a residency at Hafnarborg Center for Art and Culture in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland. When complete, the series will include seven books, one for each unique experience I have had in Iceland.
The softcover, 142-page book includes 68 images taken in 2014, plus six images of the work I made at the SÍM Artist Residency. The images range from landscapes to details to impressions to my work. The pastel, softcover book, designed and independently published by me, was inspired by a series of Icelandic Sagas at the library in Skagaströnd, Iceland. There’s a short essay at the beginning and a list of images in the back.
